May 2008-WHEW!!!
Well, we have had an amazing April and May. We had 6 sets of company- very fun! Lots of traveling back and forth to OC and Scott is now an official lifeguard after a very intense three day course. Abbie is now four, and Johanna is 7 1/2 months. Both fill us with joy and keep us very busy. Camp Alandale Julian now has a permanent facility! A very generous company bought it and will rent it to us until we can raise the money to buy it back. It is a huge blessing, our mentors, Tony and Tina, have been renting camp spaces for over 7 years. San Diego campers now have a camp home! Its been fun "moving in" and watching Tony and Tina finally feel like they can settle. We are so looking forward to having campers again. In two weeks we will have JC training! Abbie is really enjoying the work days at camp- she is allowed to get as dirty as she can as long as she doesn't hurt herself or eat non-food items. Life in Christ is the most wonderful life! He has done so much for us- He has done everything for us and offered us REAL hope, REAL life, REAL peace. We are so excited to share these truths to the kids this summer and introduce them to Jesus, our King who never changes.
