We're Home!

After one very long day of travel, we are all back home safe and sound! God is so good to us. It was obvious that many of you were praying, as all of the things that had to take place by certain time deadlines just kept happening ... sometimes just minutes before it needed to happen ... but the timing was all pretty amazing. In fact, it was all coordinated in such a way that as we walked up to our departing gate in Orlando, they announced our boarding. No waiting! Thank you for your prayers.

Our travels introduced us to many kind and interested people ... not to mention patient. We are still learning how to travel with two little ones, and were pretty much pressed to our limits in regards to how much we were transporting through the Orlando, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Orange County airports! The first of many new challenges, we're sure, in regards to becoming a 4-person family.

We were met at the airport by Abbie and Josie's very excited grandparents, driven home in our van (bearing no signs of the recent fires ... it was covered in ash when we last saw it ... much thanks to "Krampa" for that wonderful "welcome home" present), able to have a late dinner at home thanks to the thoughtful preparation and refrigerator-stocking of "Grammie," and tucked away, snug in our own beds around 11:00 pm. A very full, and exciting day.

We hope you enjoy some more pictures from this most exciting adventure. Isn't it amazing how much life can change in the course of just one week. Praise God, and thanks to all of you for sharing in this journey with us.

To all of our California friends and family, please consider our doors open to you! We are looking forward to introducing you to our newest daughter in person soon! Just call before you come to make sure that we are home.
